IWCS will hold a meeting on May 6, for parents who are interested in a virtual learning option for the 2021-2022 school year.

Because of concerns with school and community health data, Dr. Thornton announced he is moving students on the in-person continuum to the temporary remote learning model for the two weeks following Winter Break, beginning January 4 and lasting through January 15. Comments will be heard during the school board meeting Thursday, October 8, 2020. The meeting will be held at 5:00 PM in the cafeteria of Smithfield High School, 14171 Turner Dr., Smithfield, VA 23420
